WDL Zirconium Discharge Valve provides controlled draining from reactors, vessels and process tanks for process systems that need resistance to many strong acids and corrosive chemical mixtures. Zirconium is used for severe acid duties where stainless steels and many nickel alloys cannot provide an acceptable corrosion rate.

Fluoride-containing media, hydrofluoric acid and some oxidizing halides require special review because they can attack zirconium.
Confirm the mounting orientation, dead-space limit, crystallization tendency, solids size and vessel nozzle dimensions.
