SH41W ASME Y-type strainer is an in-line filtration device designed to remove solid particles from liquids, steam, air, kerosene, water and mildly corrosive gases or liquids. It helps protect compressors, pumps, meters, instruments and other downstream equipment from damage, while supporting stable process operation and reliable system performance.
The straight-through flow path provides low pressure loss. The strainer screen offers effective dirt-holding capacity, and the blowdown cover allows collected debris to be removed conveniently during maintenance. The valve body, screen material and connection dimensions can be selected according to the medium, pressure, temperature and project requirements.
