Titanium Globe Valve
WDL Titanium Globe Valve provides controlled throttling and positive process isolation for seawater and desalination plants and chlor-alkali processing. Connections, trim and operation are selected to the project conditions.
Description
Titanium Globe Valve
WDL Titanium Globe Valve provides controlled throttling and positive process isolation for process systems that need corrosion resistance in seawater, chlorides and many oxidizing media. Titanium forms a stable passive film in many chloride-rich and oxidizing process streams.
Design Options
| Item | Available specification |
|---|---|
| Material | Titanium Grade 2, 3, 5, 7, 12 or project grade |
| Function | controlled throttling and positive process isolation |
| Connections | Flanged, threaded, socket-welded or butt-welded |

Typical Applications
- Seawater and desalination plants
- Chlor-alkali processing
- Hypochlorite service
- Flow and pressure regulation
- Chemical dosing and utility control
Selection Notes
Dry chlorine, hydrofluoric acid and strongly reducing media require separate review; titanium is not universal for every acid.
Provide the required flow coefficient, pressure drop, flow direction, trim design and shutoff requirement.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why select Titanium for this globe valve?
Titanium forms a stable passive film in many chloride-rich and oxidizing process streams. Final suitability depends on the complete process conditions and the selected valve trim.
What information is needed for selection?
Provide the size, pressure rating, medium composition, concentration, temperature, connection standard, operating method and required quantity.
Send the process datasheet to WDL for material review, dimensional confirmation and quotation.
