Inconel Gate Valve
WDL Inconel Gate Valve provides full-bore on-off isolation with low pressure loss when open for high-temperature chemical lines and steam and hot-gas systems. Connections, trim and operation are selected to the project conditions.
Description
Inconel Gate Valve
WDL Inconel Gate Valve provides full-bore on-off isolation with low pressure loss when open for process systems that need strength and oxidation resistance in hot or chloride-bearing service. Inconel alloys are used where elevated temperature, oxidation or chloride stress-corrosion cracking limits common stainless steels.
Design Options
| Item | Available specification |
|---|---|
| Material | Inconel 600, 625 or project-specified grade |
| Function | full-bore on-off isolation with low pressure loss when open |
| Connections | Flanged or butt-welded |
| Operation | Handwheel, gearbox, pneumatic or electric actuator |

Typical Applications
- High-temperature chemical lines
- Steam and hot-gas systems
- Power and heat-treatment plants
- Main process isolation
- Full-bore pipeline service
Selection Notes
Select the Inconel grade from the temperature, pressure, sulfur level, chlorides and required mechanical strength.
Gate valves are normally selected for isolation rather than continuous throttling; confirm wedge, seat and stem design.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why select Inconel Alloy for this gate valve?
Inconel alloys are used where elevated temperature, oxidation or chloride stress-corrosion cracking limits common stainless steels. Final suitability depends on the complete process conditions and the selected valve trim.
What information is needed for selection?
Provide the size, pressure rating, medium composition, concentration, temperature, connection standard, operating method and required quantity.
Send the process datasheet to WDL for material review, dimensional confirmation and quotation.
