Duplex Plug Valve
WDL Duplex Plug Valve provides fast quarter-turn isolation in compact process piping for seawater and desalination systems and offshore and marine pipelines. Connections, trim and operation are selected to the project conditions.
Description
Duplex Plug Valve
WDL Duplex Plug Valve provides fast quarter-turn isolation in compact process piping for process systems that need high strength with resistance to chloride pitting and stress-corrosion cracking. Duplex stainless steel combines austenitic and ferritic phases for chloride service that requires higher strength than 300-series stainless steel.

Selection Notes
Choose 2205, 2507 or another grade from chloride level, temperature, pressure and required pitting resistance.
Confirm the plug style, cavity control, sleeve or seat material, operating torque and allowable leakage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why select Duplex Stainless Steel for this plug valve?
Duplex stainless steel combines austenitic and ferritic phases for chloride service that requires higher strength than 300-series stainless steel. Final suitability depends on the complete process conditions and the selected valve trim.
What information is needed for selection?
Provide the size, pressure rating, medium composition, concentration, temperature, connection standard, operating method and required quantity.
Send the process datasheet to WDL for material review, dimensional confirmation and quotation.
