NAB C95800 Gate Valve

WDL NAB C95800 Gate Valve provides full-bore on-off isolation with low pressure loss when open for shipboard seawater systems and offshore cooling-water lines. Connections, trim and operation are selected to the project conditions.

Description

NAB C95800 Gate Valve

WDL NAB C95800 Gate Valve provides full-bore on-off isolation with low pressure loss when open for process systems that need seawater corrosion resistance with useful erosion and cavitation performance. Nickel aluminum bronze C95800 is used for marine flow equipment exposed to seawater, turbulence and mechanical loading.

Design Options

ItemAvailable specification
MaterialASTM B148 C95800 or project-specified NAB grade
Functionfull-bore on-off isolation with low pressure loss when open
ConnectionsFlanged or butt-welded
OperationHandwheel, gearbox, pneumatic or electric actuator
Design basisAPI 600, API 603, API 6D or ASME B16.34

Typical Applications

  • Shipboard seawater systems
  • Offshore cooling-water lines
  • Marine firewater networks
  • Main process isolation
  • Full-bore pipeline service

Selection Notes

Review seawater velocity, sulfide contamination, galvanic couples and stagnant conditions before final material approval.

Gate valves are normally selected for isolation rather than continuous throttling; confirm wedge, seat and stem design.
