Industrial Globe Valve Manufacturer

WDL Valve manufactures industrial globe valves for accurate flow regulation and dependable shutoff in steam, oil and gas, power, chemical, marine and general process systems.

Our range covers straight-pattern, angle, Y-pattern, bellows-sealed, jacketed, oxygen-service and pressure-seal designs in forged, cast and corrosion-resistant alloy materials.

ASME Flanged Globe Valve

Globe Valves Engineered for Flow Control

Globe valves provide controlled travel and a defined seating path, making them suitable for throttling, frequent operation and positive isolation. Selection must balance pressure drop, controllability, seat leakage, erosion risk and operating force.

Straight Pattern

A conventional choice for process and utility lines where reliable throttling and shutoff are required.

Angle & Y Pattern

Angle bodies can replace a piping elbow; Y-pattern designs reduce flow resistance in higher-velocity service.

Special Service

Bellows seals, jacketed bodies, oxygen-cleaned construction and pressure-seal bonnets address demanding duties.

Materials and Configuration Options

Body materials can include carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex grades, titanium, Monel, Hastelloy, Inconel, zirconium and nickel alloys. Trim, packing and gasket materials are matched to temperature, fluid compatibility and leakage requirements.

Flanged, butt-weld, socket-weld and threaded ends can be evaluated against ASME, API, BS, DIN, EN, JIS or project standards.

Service Review, Testing and Documentation

WDL Valve reviews flow direction, differential pressure, operating temperature, cycle frequency, cavitation or flashing risk, and the required flow characteristic before confirming a globe valve configuration.

Inspection can include material verification, dimensional checks, shell and seat pressure testing, functional testing and documentation packages aligned with the approved inspection and test plan. Low-emission packing and third-party inspection can be specified when required.

Information Needed for a Fast Quotation

Send the valve size, pressure class, design and end standards, body and trim materials, process medium, design pressure and temperature, required leakage class, actuation method, quantity and inspection requirements. For throttling duty, include normal and maximum flow rates plus inlet and outlet pressures.

Industrial Globe Valve FAQs

When should a globe valve be selected instead of a gate valve?

Select a globe valve when throttling, frequent operation or controlled flow is required. Gate valves are normally preferred for full-open/full-closed isolation with lower pressure drop.

What is the benefit of a bellows-sealed globe valve?

A welded metal bellows creates an additional stem seal barrier and is commonly specified for toxic, high-temperature or emission-sensitive services.

Can globe valves be automated?

Yes. Electric or pneumatic actuators can be selected from the required thrust, travel, operating time, control signal and fail-action requirements.
