Inconel Plug Valve
WDL Inconel Plug Valve provides fast quarter-turn isolation in compact process piping for high-temperature chemical lines and steam and hot-gas systems. Connections, trim and operation are selected to the project conditions.
Description
Inconel Plug Valve
WDL Inconel Plug Valve provides fast quarter-turn isolation in compact process piping for process systems that need strength and oxidation resistance in hot or chloride-bearing service. Inconel alloys are used where elevated temperature, oxidation or chloride stress-corrosion cracking limits common stainless steels.
Design Options
| Item | Available specification |
|---|---|
| Material | Inconel 600, 625 or project-specified grade |
| Function | fast quarter-turn isolation in compact process piping |
| Connections | Flanged, threaded or welded |
| Operation | Lever, gearbox, pneumatic or electric actuator |

Typical Applications
- High-temperature chemical lines
- Steam and hot-gas systems
- Power and heat-treatment plants
- Frequent on-off service
- Chemical transfer and distribution
Selection Notes
Select the Inconel grade from the temperature, pressure, sulfur level, chlorides and required mechanical strength.
Confirm the plug style, cavity control, sleeve or seat material, operating torque and allowable leakage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why select Inconel Alloy for this plug valve?
Inconel alloys are used where elevated temperature, oxidation or chloride stress-corrosion cracking limits common stainless steels. Final suitability depends on the complete process conditions and the selected valve trim.
What information is needed for selection?
Provide the size, pressure rating, medium composition, concentration, temperature, connection standard, operating method and required quantity.
Send the process datasheet to WDL for material review, dimensional confirmation and quotation.
