WDL Valve supplies nickel and nickel-alloy ball, butterfly, gate, globe, check, plug and discharge valves for chemical, high-temperature and corrosion-resistant service. Available project materials include Nickel 200/201, Hastelloy, Inconel and other specified nickel alloys.
“Nickel alloy” covers materials with very different strengths, temperature limits and corrosion behavior. Nickel 200/201, nickel-chromium alloys and nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys should not be treated as interchangeable.
Selection should use the complete fluid composition, concentration, temperature, pressure, oxidation potential, contaminants and cleaning media.

Nickel-alloy valves may be evaluated for fine chemical production, acids and alkalis, petrochemical service, pharmaceutical processing, pollution-control systems, high-temperature gas, reducing environments and specialty process equipment. The required alloy depends on the dominant corrosion or temperature mechanism.
Review the Fine Chemical Processing Valves guide for application-level selection points.
No. Nickel 200 is commercially pure nickel, while Hastelloy grades contain additional alloying elements for different corrosion environments.
Only when the complete wetted assembly is compatible with the fluid and galvanic effects have been reviewed.
Specify the material standard, PMI scope, certificate level and any required corrosion or mechanical testing before production.
Send the process chemistry and operating envelope so WDL Valve can recommend a nickel-alloy valve configuration.
Send your valve specifications, drawings or RFQ. Our engineering team will review the operating conditions and contact you with a suitable solution.
