Description
1-1/2 Inch Class 300 F316L Forged SBB Ball Valve
The WDL Valve F316L forged SBB ball valve combines a primary isolation ball valve and a bleed valve in one compact assembly. SBB means single block and bleed, a valve arrangement used to isolate the process line and safely release residual pressure from the downstream or instrument side.
This 1-1/2 inch Class 300 valve features a corrosion-resistant forged stainless steel body, quarter-turn lever operation and an integrated needle-type bleed valve. Its compact construction helps reduce installation space, pipe fittings and potential external leakage points.

How the SBB Ball Valve Works
Rotating the main lever through 90 degrees opens or closes the ball valve. Once the main valve has been closed, the operator can carefully open the integrated bleed valve to release trapped pressure or drain residual fluid from the isolated section.
Integrating the block and bleed functions into one forged assembly can replace a conventional arrangement consisting of a separate ball valve, needle valve, flange and connecting pipework.
